How to Delete your TikTok Account Permanently using App
Are you bored of using TikTok? And wants some break from it then you can simply do the same by uninstalling the App and return later. What about if you permanently want to delete your TikTok account and the answer is “Yes”. You can easily delete your TikTok account permanently using App through account settings. Like other social networking Apps, TikTok firstly deactivates your account for 30 days, and during that time your account is not visible to other users. In case if you want to reactivate the account then simply log in to the app but within 30 days only
After deleting your TikTok account you will not have access to your TikTok account and also to your uploaded videos. If you have any items purchased through the app then TikTok is not going to refund anything after deleting your account. So be careful before proceeding for account deletion.
We recommend that you should download your data first before going to delete your TikTok account. Three types of information you can request/download
- Profile: includes your username, profile photo, profile description, contact information (such as your email address and phone number).
- Activity: includes your videos, comment history, chat history, purchase history, likes, favorites.
- App setting: includes your privacy settings, notification settings, language settings.
How to Download your TikTok Data:
- Open TikTok App
- Tap on “Me” (profile tab) on the right bottom corner
- Now, tap on three horizontal dots on the top right corner
- Tap on Privacy and safety
- Select Personalization and data
- Tap on Download your data
- At last select Request data file to request data, TikTok will notify you once data is available. (steps shown below)

How to Delete your TikTok Account Permanently:
- Open TikTok App
- Tap on “Me” (profile tab) on the right bottom corner
- Now, tap on three horizontal dots on the top right corner
- Next, tap on Manage my account
- Select Delete account at the bottom of the screen
- Verify the same using your authorized account
- At last Confirmation page will appear with terms and conditions of TikTok, read all the terms carefully, and at last select Delete Account. (steps shown below)
