Finally after a long time Poco X2 got a new MIUI 11.0.10.0 stable update. This update started rolling out on 26 May. Poco team is rolling out this update in batches, So if you haven’t got this update yet, you can download it and install it manually. Currently there are many problems in Poco X2 like heating issue, slow charging and notification light, are those problems solved in this new update or is it just another security patch update, well here is our full review of MIUI 11.0.10.0 update for our loving Poco X2.

Update Size and ChangeLog

Well it is not a big update in size, it’s just 292 MB update. According to Poco there is nothing much in this update and it’s just a small update with the April security patch. But we found some small changes in this update like the change in animation when you take a screenshot. We have also noticed a little bit of improvement in charging speed. Wi-Fi calling signal indication issue is also fixed, where some users are still complaining about the W-Fi calling indication not showing on their devices. There are some improvements in selfie camera portrait mode too. But this update also brings a little bit of latency in the front camera movement. Poco team is not listening to people and the most awaited notification light feature is still not here in this update.

Antutu Benchmark

We also performed a Antutu Benchmark test before and after this MIUI 11.0.10.0 update and results are not that good. Before update the benchmark score was 2,70,21 and after updating to 11.0.10.0 it dropped to 2,68,602. It’s not only about the loss of 2000 point but the benchmark score of Poco X2 is going down with every update.

Camera Comparison

We also compared both the front and the back camera, before and after the update. Well the results are same and basically there is no big difference in both images but after the update we noticed some improvement in the dynamic range of the main 64-megapixel lens. Portrait mode also works better than before and edges are sharper than the previous update.
